Title: Tessa smokes em at the Jr. Carlsbad

She took 8th overall and 3rd girl in the 5 year old half mile race, running at an 8:06 pace.  Probably would have been in the top 3 overall, first girl, but they staggered the start and she was in the 5th line back.

In celebration we had a carne asada taco, eskimo pie, then skated 4 miles in the hood.  Im so proud of her!!

it was pretty cool, they send her a 3rd place plaque in the mail last week.  her new phrase is, "dad, i was born to run!"
