Title: Climbing Guides/Books
Post by: F'ueco on May 15, 2009, 09:55:16 AM
You guys get first crack at these before I put 'em up on Craigslist...

Yosemite Climbs: Big Walls -Don Reid (1996 edition)
The Rock Jock's Guide To Queen Creek Canyon -Marty Karabin (1996 edition)
Falcon Guide, Rock Climbing Joshua Tree -Randy Vogel (apparently a reprint of the 1992 Edition)
Falcon Guide, Rock Climbing Red Rocks -Todd Swain (2000 edition)
Mountaineering The Freedom Of The Hills -6th edition, paperback -The Mountaineers (1997)

The books are by no means in pristine condition. They've been used and probably marked up. But all the information ist still there. Make an offer!

hmmm... Well, I haven't been to any of those areas since 2000. And I've never gotten into big walls, and don't really see my self doing so. And I also have three other guidebooks to Josh.

Hmm, I still have all of these... I guess walking away from climbing was never meant to be.  ;)

I still haven't been to any of those areas for years...

Don't forget that you join the elite "Old Guard" when your collection of climbing guidebooks weighs more than you do. Keep 'em.

I figured I was old guard when I started seeing this newfangled belay technique in the gym that drives me so batty. 22 years of climbing, and I still haven't hit 100 lead climbs. Boulder problems are another story, of course...
