This beautiful bird was just sitting on a fence on Stage Road. Wish I had brought my camera, but I only had my phone. Bet you don't see that everyday.
Did the ride with Bryn, a friend at work. Later Jeanne and her brother Alan joined us from Woodside. It was a beautiful day for such a ride.
Thats a solid ride, nice job! The peacocks I am used to. The Winters loop includes going by a campground and farmhouse that almost always have 1 or 2 of them around. They even have a 1/2 donkey - 1/2 Zebra thing to look at! (For real, no joke). I am looking forward to being able to do some longer hillier stuff now that I am done with IM training for a bit.
Good job Mudworm. I think you will do fine on the Death Ride. You have a solid base. There will not be anything on the Death Ride as hard as a BOOB ride at mile 85.
leave my chest out of this
