She ran Americas Finest City half on Sunday. Kicked her butt, she is really hurting, but she completed her goal of running the three half's and getting her triple crown medal this year.
Not a PR, she ran 2:11, but she really didn't train at all. Pretty much running one medium distance run a week. Motherhood does seem to take up a lot of time!

Congratulations to Jen!
I somehow have a nice picture in my head: your whole family our running together. Okay, with one stroller for now maybe, but I'm sure Tessa can run alongside without any problem.

Whoot. Congratulations.

This is an good performance (yes, considering that parenthood takes up a little time). It also brings up a question. Have you ever suggested to her that she post up here? She knows most of us and it would be kind of fun to hear her results from her too (I've tried to talk VLY into joining here, but the most she'll do is read through it occasionally).
Anyway, good job Jenn.

BY, there is an interesting phenomenon with S.O. and climbing forums, very rarely do they post in the same forums.
not sure if that's universally true, but definite pattern.

Munge, I've noticed that too and thought it was weird that Mud also posts here despite my presence.

Yuk, Yuk.
Still, if we had to choose one of you or the other...

brad - i agree a first hand account would be nice. jen is not one to sit a pc though. as a matter of fact, just this morning she checked her email... for the first time since mid-june.

Good for her! It's good to know that not everyone is addicted to computers.
When Mud and I get off work from having sat in front of the computer whole day, guess what we do when we get home? We sit in front of our own computer at home! However, knowing that communications are very important to the relationship, we do talk often, albeit through emails and text messages. Following is a screenshot of my SMS:
me: Meow!
him: Woof!
me: Nice talking to you.
him: Nice talking to you too.
