Nice, some climbing to look at!  What route is that?  Did that storm over the weekend get you guys?  It was bad in the southern yosemite area.

Glad to see the sun shining and the beer swillin!

Little me? Starting shit? Why would I do such a thing?

Yah, we got pissed on heavily Sunday morning. It was hard to comprehend since the forecast at the Tioga gate said "clear" on Sunday and that there was a 30% T-Storm potential on Saturday. Here in the 21st century and they still can't get the forecast correct? I guess Squiddo needs to check the forecast on his IPhone next time.

We climbed some of the new routes at Dozier...sans the crowds. The word has gotten out that these routes are pretty well protected. This means less people lined up for South Crack & the Dike Route. But still crowds for Blown Away.

We also climbed some new routes on the far right of the Lamb base.

Buy the new ST Meadows book. Greg now has a kid to put through college.

Dood, the new camera has a WIDE angle lens. You are lucky I didn't zoom on that thing

Munge, I got a Canon SX200 IS.......and I LOVE IT. Got rid of the Flip HD Vid and my old Elph. This pup is 12MP, has one of the widest lenses for a point and shoot, has Image Stabilization and records in HD. It's a bit bigger than the Elph I had but with many options including full manual.

very nice, I've been looking at that as well.  is it true that the optical zoom doesn't function on the HD vid?  do any optical zooms function at that class of vid?

crazy how they get that 12x in a chassis that small

Munge,

yes that's correct and hence the only complaints I heard on the camera (besides the flash which is a non-issue to me). No glass involved in the zoom on that portion.....honestly that is less of a big deal to me. Its a camera first and video second. If I'd planned on doing extensive video I'd likely get something specific for that application.

you bad boyz look like you're having fun out there.
those are some fun routes on the left side of Lamb dome.

a fun link up is to do Technomagmetics to Five Ten, You Wuss, to On the Lamb, and then up Jailbreak to top out.

great day on Lamb Dome.

wide angle lens indeed.

Joe, that link up sounds good. On the list it goes. Along with your 11b which I'd also like to get on.
