Title: Time Flies
Post by: Brad Young on November 04, 2009, 09:29:06 AM
So enjoy it. I've had another set of slides scanned. Here are two that show how time passes by:

From November 1995, at Pinns with Vicki and Katie (yes, that's the girl who's now 5'8"):

On the descent from a 10 pitch climb on the Ruby Wall, High Sierra, July 1996. Those of you who climb with me now will recognize the pack - but not in its then-unfaded condition:

Backpacking trip with the Lundeen family to Gardisky Lake (1 1/4 mile off the road to Saddlebag Lake). Vicki, Katie, Squamish Chief  and I hiked up Tioga Peak (I carried Katie up the peak, but she did walk into the lake at age not-yet-two):

And now Katie's in high school and she out hikes me. Chief is gone. Enjoy the times now friends, they're passing too quickly!

Looking for another topic, I came across this old thread. I love these photos, they remind me of past good times.

(And Katie in now almost 5' 11").

Great pictures!  Is it just me or were Brad's shorts considerably longer in the 90s?

Shorts NOT longer, must be an optical illusion.

I've been getting the "Alan Alda" thing since college.
