It's raining and I am thinking about the incredible weather we just had. I've been working my way back through all the problems I did back back in the day, when I was strong...
Some neweresque problem below Indian Rock.

Yeah, those were good. My palms started to sweat.

Nice pics to bring back the memories of when I was strong!
I remember climbing with you, Adam, way back in the day at PG.

PG, oh boy does Tom know you are stepping out on Pac Edge, Adam?
-
F'ueco, must have been way back in the day at the first PG? Not sure who you are. But I used to be strong too, and after ten years of trad, mountaineering, and Walls I decided to re-strong myself before I turn 30. Its been an incredible year.
Squido, Everyone knows that Pacific Edge is a dated relic from the early days of indoor climbing. If there wasn't such a cool community there, I would have bailed on Tom and Diane years ago. They need to get their heads out of their asses and redo that place pronto! Over the last week I have climbed at PG Sunnyvale twice and I feel so much stronger for having done so. When I looked at the sign in for employees of other gyms I noticed most of the names were from Pacific Edge. That place is so rad that we couldn't leave the other day. We spent 10 hours crushing routes, cracks, boulders. I think people were wondering were the heck we came from.
-
Yeah, I think you were 14 or so... ;)
I've been hitting PG once in a while lately. I rejoined since I can now get a student discount again. The only problem is that with working two jobs, going to school and training for stupid long rides and triathlons, I don't have much of a chance to climb there when all the cool peeps are there...

I give them some credit for getting it right 20 years ago. But sadly, yes the gym could use and update. Maybe jack the roof up another 20ft?? bigger lead area.
It took Micky 15yrs to finally get it right. Man, the 1st one in santa clara was bad. Belmont, still love it. Sunnyvale, rocks, good height and angles. SF, too short and only 3 blocks from my place.

Critique: lack of focus on the focal point of the shot, which should have been the right hand. I think this might be a shutter speed fix.

The neighbor's, Harry and Shane came out for a bouldering and TR morning session.

The one of Harry makes me want to yell "Look out!" :ihih:

You should have been sport climbing with us instead of on Kammerlander and Beyer routes. :)
-
When you going again? I'm looking to climb.
