Flag Hill - pure choss. Sunol was my back yard before I got my driver's license. My mom used to drop me off there on Saturday morning and pick me up around sunset. Spent many frustrating hours looking for something worth climbing on that face. Eventually found my way to the Indian Joe rocks (good basalt) but the PO is so out-of-control there that I hardly bother to visit anymore.

Dam! What a call. I have not met many people that have climbed at Indian Joe rocks.

or not....

Nah, Flag Hill is just loose dirty sandstone covered with grass and leaves. Indian Joe has some short problems on good rock, but it's just barely worth the hike in...
