At first glance I thought it was Fairview Dome.  Was trying to figure out what was done to the photo.

some nice rock there.

Very reminiciant of the great Balloon dome in SOYO.

That place seems too magical to allow the masses to enjoy.  Better to keep it to those in the know.  Last thing you want is another hetch hetchy.

I say leave it alone, (after reading the article)

Sweet Jezus!

Might need to pack 3-4 boxes of bolts, lots of hangers and bits.

I'm sure the locals would appreciate the $$$.

That would be a fun trip.

Mudworm, you should look into it.

Then again, you could just go to Thailand, enjoy the warm beach and limestone.....

Or stay on the Sonora Pass Highway, getting started at 10:00 AM, and still getting in long, full days of climbing.

Sheesh, no wonder my ears were burning. China, spanning from Pacific Ocean on the east to the highlands to the west, is bound to have features of such magnificence. Oh, it's so far far away...

At this time it is looking like I will have to be around for at least a bit both days.

In interim I think I will work on my new pump track.

Possibly.  You might have a difficult time getting her away from her MTB.

I will be going back to China, someday.  Definitely a different world, but it was a good experience.  I disagree with their politics but people are people and country is country.  Hell sometimes I disagree with our politics (Cough , GWB and Mr. Cheney, Cough).  Then there is
America's favorite Dipsie Doodle Sarah.
