I went out to the BMX track on Saturday night.  It was my 1st race in 4-5 years.  I got last place in the Old man class.  It felt good.  I was not that far behind,  About a bike length..

Wow, BMXDamn, I rode from 86-89.  Crazy how bikes have changed.  I was sponsered by a local shop and raced in jersey, penn, massachusets, NY regularly.  My third bike was a chromoly prototype that weight 13 lbs.  That was pretty cutting edge.  It cost $1,600 dollars, my father paid for it and the shop hooked up the gears and such.

Big fun, pops was a announcer.  Can't believe he coughed up that cash when times were tough.  But I went 1st for 14 races that year.  He told me I paid for it with the smile on my face.

I have never talked about racing until now, please excuse the chest beating....I was all of 7 years old!  HAHAHA!

What's the deal these days?  I would love to check a race out someday!

Ok I will give it back to the pro's:)
