It has begun. I do not think that I can live up to Gilbert standards but here it is for me.
goals for March 15th through April 15th.
I did 150 situps and 100 curls last night.
situps 10,000
curls 10,000
pushups 5,000
run 150 miles
laps on crack machine 10,000
and be able to swim 450 yards in 11 minutes.
That's my March Madness this year.

Well, you probably only need to run three times in the month to reach that goal. BTW, were you implying Mr Mud's plan sounded mad?

150 crunches last night, 100 at Feral's the night before.
I'm on track for those, but...
No push ups last night- neck is wrecked.

5 Bottles of Vino (no screwtops BRATTON)
10 Grey Goose Vodka's
3 Saphire Gin's
2 Expresso's
AND
One bonus ride on the porcelain bus!

I screwed up on the running meant to put 90 but even that is probably a little unrealistic.

200 hundred crunches tonight, done.
250 tomorrow and then start with push ups if neck is kosher
keep that steady til April 15th
goals:
200-250 crunches a day with a rest day occasionally from that occasionally
2 bike rides a week
2 work outs or bouldering sessions a week
(still determining my push up goals)

OK, I guess I will bite. My 'March' Madness will begin today and go thru 4/20. Going really conservative on everything xcept running because last time i fucked my shoulder doing mad pushups. So basically, I am expecting to take every other day off with upper body stuff since I havent done ANYTHING except run since November....
Pushups - 1600
Pullups - 500
Curls - 1200 (thats 600 reps per arm)
Situps - 5000
Running - 244 miles - thats according to a training schedule I am starting, but in reality, its far to many miles, will be lucky to get 175.
Stretch - 600 minutes.
Beer - 100 (thats a cut back and will be the crux).
Let it be known that I have a kid coming any day so that might fuck my averages up.
Also dealing with a rather painful bout of ITBS, so running might have to lag too.
Cant think of any more outs right now. Carry on.

As of today I am at 1250 situps, 540 curls and 14 miles. I am way off on just about every thing except situps.
here is my revised.
situps 10,000
curls 5,000
pushups 1,200
run 90
crack 1,000
swim the same.
If I make it cool if not, flame on.

100 push-ups, 300 crunchies tonight...so far. The night is still young.

blew off everything but running last night. logged 9. oh, 4 ales, so I am behind in that department.

I was a fairly sore so I did the same. Ran 3.5 and rode for about 30 minutes.

Ran for over an hour last night at a fast clip, then did 140 pushups, 80 incline situps, 140 crunchies, and also did some pull ups, dips, shoulder flyes, curls, lat pull downs, etc. Going for a hilly 6 mile run today (hopefully) and will get in another 150 pushups/300 crunchies.

400 situps in the mornig yesterday and 200 curls.

with the leg injury and baby i am officially bowing out of march madness, but will return for april radness.

Ran 6 miles yesterday at just over 7min/mile pace.
This morning, Mr Mud and I did HIT strip and crack machine workout. I also got 300 crunchies in and did some curls and shoulder flyes. All before 8am.

I will not get most of my numbers. I'll make situps that is about it. My elbow is flaring up, felt some sharp pains opening the bathroom door at work. 200 curls a day with no rest days started taking a toll. I had a couple of days where I managed 400 - 500. I am still doing curls I am just taking rest days.

nothing else, bike ride cancelled due to work emerg.

Haven't done much since I got to Fargo. Did do 70 pushups last night - 50 on my own, 20 with Cole sitting akimbo on my back.

OK, so it is April, but the training must continue...
Yesterday, ran 9 miles at an 8min/mile pace. Then did HIT strips and Crack machine, weights, and crunchies with Mr Mud and Rob in the garage, while drinking wine and single malt whiskey.

Hit strips with 15 lbs and as many laps on the crack machine as possible. Was able to do laps on the crack machine with weights. Crunches. Tried to do a few curls but my elbows felt like I have been abusing them for 40 years.
