Go with a Microsoft VM solution.  That way even your non-Windows machines can be rebooted once a month for critical patches.

Such a wonderful, well thought out, solid, state of the art OS.  I really enjoy working with it.  Microsoft has done an incredible job at providing solutions that are so much better than other vendors.   Windows 2008 R2 is wonderful.
