Spent the weekend climbing up in Sonora at one of the many secret crags that are in development. These many secrets will be revealed when Brad publishes his new Sonora Pass Guide Book. The last rumor is that it will be released in 2025 (Brad disputes this, but we do not listen) so I still have a bit of time.
This particular spot does not have a real clean approach, but even with that I got someone excited and he wants to go back and finish the line. It is a bit difficult and we were on it in the heat of the day so there is a taint. We got the FA but need to go back and do the FFA.
I had forgotten that there is a fairly sweet 100+ foot OW right next to this line and the rock is fairly clean. With the lead in climbing and the finish part of the climbing it will probably be three pitches. It is beautiful.
The bushwhacking and boulder hopping is just to keep the riffraff out.
