That's odd, this isn't sonora pass climbingwhatever.

Oh and this is day 3 and I think we are making a dent on those tomatoes...

I think you got the last of the tomatoes.

Sitting here looking at the plants and I think they will be pulled this weekend.

Wishing we'd gotten some of those tomatoes. "The Sonora Pass Season?" Highlights so far:

1. Well, it seems over early this year. It's 35 degrees here right now and Joel and I are going to get a late start just so we don't freeze. The pass is closed (earliest I can ever remember - with this weekend's coming storm will it open again?);
2. I got over 70 new routes done, maybe 15 of them first ascents;
3. A friend introduced Vicki and I to BudLiteLime (he shall remain anonymous, and, of note, the friendship survived the introduction - according to Vicki, the word "barely" should be inserted into this last sentence);
4. Squiddo made it up;
5. The second edition book is up to 283 pages - perhaps as much as two thirds done;
6. Got in an excellent weekend up here with the Muds in July;
7. Got to climb with Miwok, even do a couple FAs together;
8. Continued introducing Joe to new SPH crags (slowly showing him stuff higher and higher on the pass, as the book work moves up);
9. Took 10 Summerville High School students out for a day of introductory climbing - Katie stated the Summerville High School Climbing Club;
10. Got in a few high county days with Jim McCon, who's too shy to post here much, so I'll leave the last name incomplete;
11. The continuation of the AAC weekend with lots of people and fun, but no real work for the Robbins.

All in all, a great season. But the air is getting crisp and the days short. Pinnacles yet anyone?

It is the end of October so Pinnacle has started.

I am on call this weekend, then have a major data center activity the next.  Possibly the following weekend I can get out.

Yep, it's right next to Good Times and Fast Times at the W-L! And DC AngelCat.

It even stumped Brad!

So sad that my current rig can't get in there.

It's Brad's favorite climb at the E-Front.
