This is kind of old news, but I know several of you are SPH regulars and thought you'd be interested.

Easiest route- 5.11d an I'm told hard at that. Time
To train away the chub. Great news though!

Don't worry, like all JH routes, they start to feel "easy" once you know where the holds are and work up the fitness.
Here is a little more info:

Yeah- I had that same experience at Cave Rock too. Miss that place even still

Karl!!! Where have you been?
I was told the 11d is kinda hard and that some of the 12s were a better choice.
So Karl, care to give us a tour???....once I'm down a few lbs.
I still miss Cave Rock. That was some fun. Sadly, my partner didn't like it when I jumped off.

Karl!!! Where have you been?
I've just not been psyched to climb locally lately. I've been lazy and choosing to train for climbing over days of actual climbing. But, I have been getting out, but mostly elsewhere.
As for JH, I intend to be there as soon as the rain passes. The spring would be a good time for me to show you around.

I'd return the favor by showing you the Eastern Front at the Grotto.
All routes there are 5 *****s.
My problem is trying to climb hard while a few lbs over weight. The fingers can't take the plastic crimping.

Eastern Front!
