In a nut shell, bring your old rope into a touchstone gym and Keen will recycle it. They will give some $$ to the Access Fund.

Finally, I can clean out my garage. I only have 10 ropes.

I NEED ROPES!!!!!!
I feel very weird if I do not have enough cord to fix anything up to 2,500 feet in california on a moments notice.
Glad to hear I am not the only one...
-
problem is....most are +10yrs old or were cut in half by some jackass when the other half was stuck on the lost arrow. "Here is 1/2 your rope back".
Mucci....you need to steal a spool from the gym.
-
Touchstone......SF? Commute to drop your rope off:-)
-
Isn't there one in DTW San Jose?

I guess it had been a few years since I was there.
I say pool all of our manky ropes and drop them off on the way to PG SF.

I had almost forgotten about that incident. Hey, at least I offered to get the other half back for you...

Yeah and the next time I went climbing I had to tell my partner..."sorry we can only do 15meter routes.
-
30 with a walk off. ;)
-
Yea, a TM walk off. I swear one time Jake and I "walked" off the Dike route and he almost tripped over a bolt.
Maybe a 30m rope would be best for Sonora Pass routes. They can be a bit short. Just go to the short cracks area.

Finally planet granite is doing the same deal. I just unloaded 4x ropes. One was bought in 1988 and was in mint condition.
Sorry MUDs, no recycled ropes for you.

I for one liked the idea of using a trashy rope to TR at the Pinns.
