Title: My new kitty
Post by: mynameismud on February 07, 2011, 11:26:55 PM
I have adopted an outdoor kitty.  Not real big, but she has a lot of heart.  I noticed a big raccoon on the table next to her bed.  So I tapped on the window to scare it away.  This woke her up, at which point she heard the raccoon scamper off the table.  She jumped out of her bed and chased the raccoon across the yard and under our shed.

I went out to see the action and she ran back across the yard and jumped up on the table and started strutting around.  So we gave her a treat.

We have two indoor cats.

Kinda funny story.   This weekend we opened the doors.  The indoor cats went outside, the outdoor cat came inside.  Something happened outside that spooked the indoor cats.  So the indoor cats came barging into the house which startled the outdoor cat so the outside cat rushed outside.

Any cat that will stand its ground against two or three raccoons is welcome on my porch.  The fact that she chased one across the yard, well she is always welcome here.
