some punks bashed my windshield in with a baseball bat last nite.
wtf.
when i did that shit as a kid, i would have never done it to a vanagon!!!
-
That sux, dude. I would get it fixed and then sleep in it. Catch those fuckers in the act next time and beat them with a bat.
-
very good idea. ill get more sleep out there anyway with no kid chirpin
-
Sleep with yer hammer
-
little fucks
Me neither, IF i were to do that, i wouldn't touch vanagons, only buicks that were sitting in an empty parking lot for years on end.

On the other hand, maybe Burner will learn not to implicitly trust anyone with the handle "cock". Not a dig on you, Burner, being a n00b and all to the site, but if you ever read half of cock's posts, you know that slander and mayhem - all in the name of good fun - are his MO. cock is really a good guy with a derranged sense of humor and a good friend of mine.
So let's all kiss and make up and experiment together. Meow!
Or, let's drag this whole fucking site down into name calling and flame wars.
Either way, I win.

only if we don't get snowed out this weekend

He still wins since that will just add fuel his internal fire.

On a sadder note; The cruize ships are back in Monterey Bay. The viz is real good right now but that will be shot to hell soon since the cruize ships dump their waste just before coming into the Bay but currents carry it in. So the plankton blooms are soon to follow wihich means 3 foot viz.
-
I figured it was a nice drive anyway and wasn't doing anything so no worries.
Also I don't agree with you that the viz is great in monterey. Also it is too fucking cold to be diving there.
Out of curiousity are the dendronitis breeding yet? Once that happens it is probably worth bearing the miserable cold to watch them hunt. Probably will be happening in the next month if it isn't yet.
-
I called a shop down there and they said the viz is good today. I find the cold worth it. Have not yet had the pleasure of diving warm water but the one nice thing about California diving is there can be a ton of life to see. I like the diving and look forward to the kelp coming in.
What do dendronitis nudi's look like? I do not know the nudi's by name. I can hunt them out. but, do not know the names yet. I do know that when I get back the Halibut should be in and I hope to get one of those this year. Might go Ab diving saturday.
-
The cruise ships won't mean jack to me cuze I'll be down in Carmel or even farther south. Now is the best time to dive the sites that get chocked with kelp later on in the year.
-
These are the biggest nudis you'll ever see in monterey
Here is a video of one:
http://www.metridium.com/movies/iris.html
This one is rather small compared to some of them. I spent an hour watching 3 1 foot long ones hunting tube worms. They aren't really fast, but fast for a nudibranch.
You can see there eggs on the tube anemones (white spirals) when you start seeing eggs start looking for them. I generally find small 1-2 inch ones on the tubes. They are generally red in color but can vary dramatically. Also you usually find them at night. (Breakwater 10 feet off the wall in 40 feet there is a huge field of tube anemones.)
Sometime between now and the end of may I expect them to be out.
-
nudis?
you people are talking fish, not nudis.

Or, let's drag this whole fucking site down into name calling and flame wars.
Now we're talking...when do we start?
***Edit, without the profanity and nudity, please***
