uh, those water streaks don't normally lean to the right like that.
-
Global warming. The Balconies are settling.
Oh and the water streaks are DARK! Crowley Towers looked pretty evil.

That must be a wide angle effect. The Digger Pine closer to the photographer looks pretty much vertical. As do the other trees.
Isn't this in about the same location?

I think that's about the same place Jody. The weather sucked for us. I think it's part the wide angle effect and a little of me not keeping the camera level.
I'm still tripping on how wet and dark the water streaks are. Crowly Towers looked so evil with 2x pointed streak poking up.

Didn't even realize my pic was up on their site.

Nice picture of lava falls. That climb should be opening up soon. No matter for me as I'll be in Fiji getting fat.
-
Getting fatter.
-
I so need to go do that route. Enough pussing for me an making excuses. Not in the Summer thogh no matter what "soon to be married" boy says.
-
i'll follow it, i need to get comfy with that headwall again
-
Nice shots.
Jody your shot is the next pitch. And, there is now a route that goes up that dark water streak on the right hand side of your pic. It is quite lovely; 5.11, steep, loose, dirty, and usually wet, with a slabby runout at the top. I give it 3 stars.
-
isn't that rapping off of Machete Direct?
which route are you speaking of Des?
-
Ooops my error. That is Machete Direct. I was thinking the traverse pitch on Twinkle Toes.
-
Munge, the 2nd pitch on Lava isn't as bad as the upper 1st pitch.
-
Look who isn't working. One day left Bratton....one day left.
-
Brat, yeah, that's the headwall I'm talking about.
