some knuckleheads brought their dog in and walked it around the Machete drainage.
Uncle LEO, escorted them out...
:)
What I can't figure out is why after seeing all the new "no doggie" signage they continued with bringing the dog in. Silly Tourists.

Heh- saw this last Tuesday as well. LEO gave a ticket then too

did you see the tramped down trail going up the gully in the pic?
we should get a climber project together to prevent folks from going straight up and down thru there.
saw your chalk on Lava Falls, or someone's. Was tempted to give it a shot, but the old lady would not have had fun.

That'd be mine and not his. I was needing all the help I could get.
Maybe the V2.0 Guide can mention, please leave your dogs at home.
Or the admin could put up a 1st timer stickie. Plus there's no water there for a dog to play in.

The people that I have talked to that have had dogs at the Pins knew they rules were in place to not allow dogs.
They just figured the rules did not apply to them. A sticky is not needed because folks know dogs are not allowed. It is very basic.

Hmmm interesting but two people now I've met did not. I'm sure others were willfully disregarding the rules though.
Chalk could have been mine- just got a massive new bag to drop my crack mitts into.
