Post by: F4? on June 17, 2013, 05:11:13 PM
Mungie, the forum is in your hands.

I'd say Brad, but he has guide books to sell/ mail.

Slander away.

I'll start. Rumor has it they were "sport climbing today".

We were up in Mendocino indeed. I'm having a hard time picking and choosing the photos.

Love the Mendo headlands - lots of cool muti-colored tilted, folded and faulted cherts exposed in the cliffs - cool sea stacks and arches too at low tide. Looks like you were clear of fog. Nice!

It was super nice up there. No fog, a little wind. June is nice, i.e. warmer.

I like it up there in October with the cool air and super clear skies.

Yes the geology is pretty cool there. Well not cool when you are ab diving and trying to pop off what you think is an ab, but really a cobble. Stupid rocks.

My only issue about the north coast is a lack of rock climbing. Granted, there is stuff south near Ft Ross.

No problem. It was nice chilling @ the house and taking it easy. I wish it could be for 10 days!

The best part was the look on Mr Mud when he saw his favorite beer was now in a can!
