Title: found an old nut this weekend
Post by: bad rock on March 10, 2014, 08:21:35 PM: Yesterday, on the way to eggshell/freedom dome, I found a #4 chouinard wired stopper buried in the ground. It must have been made in '72, since it has an open swage.

How many people are climbing in the Pinns with classic Chouinard nuts? The nut was clearly well used and also quite weathered. I wonder how long its been there?

neigh, good horse. My tiny brass is in the garage in good steed. Though I do have a nut that looks suspiciously like that in the garage. hmmm
