Today's ride was a short JRA the San Pedro Mtn area exploring new trails with Paul & Chris.

Chris on San Pedro Mtn just above the switchback:

We explored the switchback trail that drops off the ocean side of San Pedro Mtn, Paul:

And climbed out on the historic Old Colma Bike Road:

That was to be followed by a climb to North Peak but it was shrouded in fog:

...so we skipped it.

An hour before sunset and the cloud pattern is looking good:

Look at that, the sunset is going to be great!

We ride over to a vantage point near the intersection of Old San Pedro Road and the North Peak Service Road. Ugh, the clouds have increased and pretty much blocked the sun:

Worst sunset evar!

Harrumph! We put on lights and zipped back to our cars in the Linda Mar Safeway parking lot:

Hahaha... looks like a pretty sunset to me, at least from what I see in the pictures. Thanks for sharing!

My backsplash (half today and half tomorrow) is looking pretty nice. Can't wait for Mr. Mud to return home to see it! So no riding for me is okay. Glad to see your reports though.

Nice sunset pictures even thought they lack colour.
