IT'S PINNS SEASON!!! Munge, Brad, Jim, Aaron, Geoff and all others suffering from harsh cases of severe granititis. We have the cure.

There is only one true cause and it lies along a fault that's among the mightiest in the world :)

You do know that there is a San Andreas up here in granite country too?
-
I'll be there on Sun.

What, you don't get it and that's now my fault ::) ::)

I really don't think of the foothills as granite country. :o

It's all your faults this tread is ruined.

Foothills and the Mother Lode is the Melones Fault zone :)
No worries clink - we don't need those "it" boys :)
We'll get it right on the "ite" :)

Geoff is insisting on a one day, Sunday Yosemite run. I don't get it. Why would I do that? He has granite fever and can't seem to be coaxed into climbing at Pinnacles. Every year it is the same old shite. ::)
-
Geoff has now conceded that Yosemite is out, but only due to the forecast. He next announces "I am going to Pinns Sunday to work on my new route." I died laughing. He started his "new" route 24 years ago, hasn't been back since, and the one bolt(smc?) probably needs rebolting.

It's shit as in granite - especially on a Pinns thread :)
shite is reserved for the crud...as in rhyolite :)
compositionally equivalent but i prefer the inferior texture of the crud :)
I mean why would anyone want to climb on something you can actually trust?!

Nice post mortem comment :)
If it's the thing you've shown me off the bridge the PO will be tasty too - bonus!

Yes, and it should get called Time Warped if he ever finishes it. New, haha, but then again he did show up at the gym 3 years ago sporting Boreal Fires.
