The Merced Sheriff and Search Teams were so well organized, prepared and extremely dedicated to finding our friend. The rescue team from Fresno was covering another area as well. The military sent in a chopper. I followed a ridge I thought him most likely to explore over the majestic Balloon Dome. I found no tracks there.
One of the search teams heard his calls for help but could not locate him. They called in the chopper he was found and a paramedic lowered to him. Everyone was surprised at his unexpected location.
He is recovering in the Fresno hospital and may be on his way home. Lars has at least 114 lives he has used by now. Joe Simpson needs to write a book about this cat.
He should received the "Joe Simpson award" from his friends. Dude is resilient.

I've tried. Nothing works around here. Off topic. Cross thread posting. Cats and Dogs living together. Mass hysteria!

It is doing better. Did not workout during vacation as I had hoped to. Did get a couple of good messages that seemed to make a difference. After the big road trip I am not looking forward to jumping in the car and sitting in traffic for 6 hours so I am thinking of a Pins trip this weekend. Have projects in mind................
