I found myself in the company of a true Pinnacles crusher.

The youth is taking over...

How many laps on Ranger Bolts?

Haven't lapped Ranger Bolts since my profile photo was taken.

"Make it look harder", Jim says...

"Sorry my 'try hard' face is so stoic... Let me fake it. They'll never know."

Unfortunately... I did something really weird to me finger. May not have been climbing related but its taking some time to heal. Just crushing choss for now. I was hoping to push the 'Hooking ain't easy' project higher while I was here but it may have to wait until the MoM weekend next year.

None-the-less, still stoked to be back in Pinnacles and in good company.

Pinnacles bit back though. I had to have a tick dug out of my back with an x-acto knife in my friends kitchen. It was too early for whisky. Might have been the manliest thing I've endured all year. But I'm a big wimp who won't climb runout 5.5 slab so I may not have too many manly experiences to draw from.

We will probably work on projects on Sunday.  I may need you and/or Gavin to get my next "5.7" project.

I think I need dedicated on call rope guns since my easy leads keep end up being not so easy.

I'd be game for that, Mud. Is the "5.7" your Chaos Crag project, or one closer to Scout Peak?... The Chaos Crag project certainly sounds interesting, if you want the company at some point. PM me and we can talk about some dates.

Mud Math 5.7 equals 5.5 to 5.10d

not chaos crag, up by Scout Peak.  After the current project up by Scout Peak, ok maybe there are one or two others,  I want to get on the Chaos Crag project.  So hopefully be on Chaos before the end of the year if the weather cooperates.   If your free this Sunday your more than welcome.  I can use your rope gun skill on my new "5.7".

I am going to try and not work the week after the Christmas weekend since I will be working most of the Christmas weekend (including Christmas and Christmas Eve).  I am also going to try and get the first two weeks of January off but will have to see how that goes.  Had a major/massive project spin up today due to security issues and I might end up in the middle of it.  Although I am not sure I want to work 80 hours a week to get all this stuff done.  Sending the email in about 15 minutes, this should be fun.

What is the estimated date for the closures? : )

Carnac the Magnificent predicts it will be after MLK Day weekend but the official announcement is hermetically sealed in a #2 mayonnaise jar on Gavin's back porch.

We'll need one team at each of these locations with bolt bags - Western Front, Tuff Dome, Tugboat, Marmot or Yaks and Crowley Towers :)

I'm pretty clear from this coming Friday until January 4. Although I can't spend it all down there, I'll be there a fair amount (depending on weather).

I might be able to make it on Sunday... I have family coming in the X-Mas week from the 20th or 21st until the 27th or 28th, but would definitely have time after that. I'll likely be busy on January 1st to 3rd, then available again.

Closures go into effect the day after MLK Day, so on January 19th. So get to work on those 5.9's!
