We made plans to go to the mud today since there was a break in the rain yesterday and the forecast said the next wave wouldn't arrive until after 4:00 pm today - hah!
Got up early and they had changed the forecast to rain after 11am.
Called clink, went back to bed ;D
Had a dream where Kat and I could see this big rock G in the sky.
Backing up, we discovered it was the top of an almost endless tower/pinnacle of mud.
We looked away for a moment.
When we looked back - it was gone.
The park rain gauge started tipping at 6:30am.
We walked to the beach yesterday and the detritus was crazy.
So was the wind.
There was also an unusual amount of sand built up.
Normally sand is scoured in the winter and deposited in summer.
Foam was racing by - sliding then rolling and disintegrating in the swash zone.
Need to head back down today with a camera. ;D

I always prefer it when none of you SOB/MOMs can climb there without me :P :P
We had snow here at the house from the last storm cycle, but this one is rain (and lots of it). I think I'll spend part of today "in Normandy."

packing up for the trip to Wa, lunch at Alices. Dinner in Issaquah. Has for the most part rained here all weekend.

I am listing on my port side.

I'm working on extending my breakfast coffee route.
Grade III 4.7+ PG
Granulated sugar conditions.
After the storm passes spirits will rise and we'll complete our assault.

BTW JC must have waxed yesterday. Pedicure today?

Is that your man bag clink? - geez that sounds so wrong.
Maybe you can hang your bath salts in that by the tub.
Sorry - I don't do hippie any more.

Think bigger!
Stevens Creek is finally at peak flow! We need to get Jake out with his raft and finish what he and his brother started 25 years ago.....floating stevens creek.
there are a few bad bits, but it can be done.
-
what do you mean started? It was floated to the reservoir.
You mean below that through the concrete? No way mang. Some lovely hydraulics in there as I recall. Concrete hydraulics are death.
-
It'll go. by the hydraulics above your work near 237/85 looked like sure death, unless you had a large raft.

I could hear the rock drying in the sun today and a faint calling of my name in the distance.

Raining fairly hard here
