Title: Hindsight
Post by: Brad Young on May 05, 2016, 06:23:35 PM
I don't have a photo of it, but Vicki is being abusive toward me.

Ten minutes ago she texted that she was starting the drive home from Sacramento (in my car which she took down there).

I texted that that was good. Also, tired of the cliche "drive safely," I texted: "Drive like a bat out of hell."

She texted back: "I suppose your Subie has that on autopilot?"

What's with the elevation related directions? It's up there. Australia is down under...

I wouldn't disclose that you text a lot and drive a "Subie"

Up and down can refer to elevation, not just latitude.

As in: Twain Harte is higher (i.e. inherently superior, of greater value) and Sacramento is lower (i.e. inferior, of lesser value).

Sonoran Opinionated Snobs. The SOS(who really need help but don't know it) or BAPs, all the same from up and over there.

Isn't Twain Hart a subdivision of Sonora?

Do I still have an invite on Memorial Day?

Of course. You and all of your beauties are always welcome (five second notice rule applies, honk at the top of the driveway).

(Better explain the phrase "you and all of your beauties" before it is too late: It refers to Martha and the girls, and most emphatically not to the nice looking parts which you probably no longer or never even had.)

My days of ass modeling are far from over.

Sometimes you're way too hard on yourself. None of us really thinks you're an ass. Lemme fix that for you:

"My days of jerk modeling are far from over."

"My days of unpleasant fellow modeling are far from over."

Much better.

Oh, and speaking of coming up on Memorial weekend, the dogwoods are in bloom:

I'm greatly relieved to know it. I was worried that you wouldn't be able to take my place.

Hmmm, Memorial weekend up in Sonora...tempting, very tempting.

I might bring the crew with me.
