Title: LEND A HAND, FLEX YOUR MUSCLES, WIN SOME PRIZES!
Post by: clink on September 22, 2016, 07:28:07 PM
What's up geology professor? Why can't we reply on the PCAD announcement topic page?

I want to have muscles like Aaron sawing in the first pic and use big hand tools like the gal in the center picture. I don't know about letting Mud spank me with the spatula though. Not saying he isn't skilled (and I have been a bad boy).

It's locked because I want to be able to go out and periodically update it without all the info being lost once the thread becomes a general conversation thread - as they all inevitably do. Thanks for starting this thread and thanks for getting registered.

You may want to put your glasses on grandpa - that's Larry sawing

I see that a couple people outside the regular crudders have signed up - NICE!

You can go out to the registration site and see who has signed up - unless you're "challenged" like clink

We need lots more of that (sign-ups not clinkons) and we need all the regulars to sign up - REPRESENT!

You are right, wow Larry is looking strong for a hundred years of climbing. I have my glasses on now.

Meanderthal, look who is talking and doesn't have a smart or dumb or any cell phone. Did Bruce and Clint use sign language to teach you the art of rebolting?

Would you like me to change your screen name to clinkon? I can change mine to Meanderthal. Or should that be The Meanderthal?

You really should have your DNA checked.

I'm sure we can find them a job.
Caleb's boys are coming.
Trash pickup might work.

Plenty to do.

Using provided gloves they could line JC's Sleeping bag with fresh sprigs of PO.

I don't climb at the gym.
I simply train but I feel I also get a lot from my you-knee-sigh-kill. :ihih: :out:

Yeah, J.C. a sport climber. He's about the purist thing from a sport climber I can think of.

I'm in!  Will see you there.  Does anyone know the group location where we will be camping?

I don't have the site #'s yet but the park has reserved 4 group sites and a few walk in sites as well.
Registration will be at the visitor center.
I'll be sending more info out this week.

The comment about "a one way ride" sounds kinda weird, even in context  :o

And, although I'm probably the last person you'd expect to say "yes," I'll be driving over from the Santa Cruz area on Friday morning and would love your company.

You'll be leaving at 5 or 5:30 am.

Yes oh imperious master.

Actually, after all the work that you and the other committee members have put into this year's event, getting up and out from your house that early on Friday doesn't seem like much of a sacrifice (any chance though that we could have some coffee before we leave?).

That'd be nice, but beggars can't be choosers (I'm just happy that they still allow me to visit them).

"I can't find the words to express" how extraordinarily well this year's event was planned and executed  ::)

"The Committee:" great work; smooth, smart, entertaining and a ton of fun. Your hard work set the stage for a weekend of labor toward better trails and conditions for all Pinnacles climbers, and for another NPS/Climbing Community success.

The highlight for me? It was the blending of the many "sub-tribes" of the Pinnacles climbing community. Pinns climbers from different ages, backgrounds, geographies and passions.

Now, who's got more photos?   8)
