Title: Public service
Post by: F4? on February 25, 2018, 12:35:00 PM
Ya’ll Can thank me...mr mud has a new rope. And it was not my old gym rope.

Those of you who climb with him can now breath with a sigh of relief knowing his current rope is new-ish with a known history.

Good luck as to his other gear!

I’ll be accepting donations for my next new rope.

Unless Mud is tied up with that rope no real public service has been done.

Well the last rope I swear was my gym rope. He took one look and said, it’s fine...Clint would climb on it.

I climbed with him yesterday. It blew me away when he pulled a new looking rope out of his pack! Wow!

Thanks, F4.

Whose rope is that? It's mine. Is it mudworm's?  No it's really mine. Wow, nice!

Thanks F4.  My rope is looking a little beat too so it was a treat to use a such a nice bicolored one for a change.

I still have your old gym rope and use that whenever I climb up north.

The green supersafe was my gym rope.

No way! My rope is still My Precious even though it's a bit beat up from all the jugging it took on !

So, I handed a little bullet pack to Mud the night before for his meager personal gear. "Here, this way NOAL will HAVE TO carry all the rope and hardware." After all, Mud is a light weight now having lost 20 lbs. But he insisted on a larger pack.

Yeah, that's part of my Pinnacles workout regimen.  To do it properly you have to have one shoe untied, have a busted buckle on the hip belt of your pack so you cannot fasten it, do not use the chest strap, and have your pants on the verge of falling off the entire time.

What surprises me though is that he actually knows that these things are true.

well executed.

Sadly, squiddo is on to the small pack ploy and won’t leave without my larger pack in the back of the car.

I am still waiting for a crag pack with a cooler in the bottom. A guy can wish.
