Title: Proofreading guide book
Post by: beanolar on April 26, 2019, 08:07:30 AM
Well, you all have had quite the impression on Jesse. After hauling the kid up the hand yesterday, he apparently has "mud fever", asking about hands, frogs, and unmentionables.

Here he is reading the holy GUIDEBOOK at BREAKFAST

He even read thru the appendices and INDEX (?!), like actually reading them. I wonder when he'll start his first pinns spread sheet ha haha .

beano - I think you are confusing proofreading with reading  :lol:

I did some proofreading this morning (after breakfast) and some spoof proof reading yesterday.

Tell Jesse that was a big gopher snake we saw yesterday.

I really wanted him to lead past Amber's high point to see if he could scream louder than she did  :lol: :out: :prrr: :arf:

He must be looking for my routes, I assume.

Tell him rest assured, I am in the guide, and all my routes are ****.

Is he reading it out loud to Kim so she can pick the climbs?   ;D :o

He must be taking notes, trying to glean from the legends of the crud.

I thought it was a 3 star system. Are there 4? Or was **** for  a 4 letter word.

I heard amber got quite a whip yesterday!

Kim repeats everything. We'll have to start teaching her some real crud language.

What pinns catchphrases should we teach kim?

-  Mud-rail;

-  Lodestone;

-  Hand drilling;

-  High adventure.

All of those seem unique or kinda unique to Pinns.

Oh, and repeat to her what I repeated to mine, what I wanted to hear from them: "I will never climb in the Karakoram."

(True story.)

When you are done climbing at Pinns, put the holds back where you found them.

" knock the cobble with your knuckle, and listen to the sound."

 Try this on Brad's, Cook's or Mud's head and you will probably be convinced their heads may fall off at any moment.

 Try this on climberdude and all you'll get is sore knuckles.
