California experiencing onslaught of seismic activity!
A local hiker on the High Peaks Trail reports hearing sounds of hand drilling days before major California quakes. Juan (who didn't want to give his full name), has been hiking the Pinnacles trails consistently as part of a health and dieting program recommend by his physician. He has dropped 60lbs and is now down to 410lbs(from 470). On previous hikes he has heard hand drilling, but on this most recent excursion the sound had intensified. "It seemed to be intensified, as though two hand drillers were hammering at once, in close proximity to each other."
Could this "Simul-drilling" have had an adverse affecting effect on the stability of the fault lines?
Calls to certain local geology professionals have not been returned.

See it’s the ground up hand drillers causing all the issues.
Top down is the way to go.

Damn funny clink but there should be a disclaimer saying your post is for entertainment purposes only.
The area where all the quakes have been occurring is called Walker Lane (no relation to zombies).
The Pacific and North American plates are big plates, relatively speaking.
Mighty as it is, the San Andreas Fault can't accommodate all the motion that needs to occur between the two plates.
There is a whole system of faults splintering the eastern Sierra and most geologists believe this area helps accommodate what the San Andreas can't. There are also whole systems of faults in the Bay area and in So Cal that assist with the motion.
It's fairly complicated - especially from a meanderthal's point of view.
As a result, people come up with all kinds of entertaining explanations - earthquake weather for instance.

I’d be nervous, 1 more pooop at the pinnacle might cause a splitting of the fault.

It is right there, in the first post, and so unpredictable, yet the apprehensive anticipation continues for...

You know they would not have to resort to that if they would use one of those bolt guns...

I bet clink has something in his work truck.

My goat is now in witness protection. Find it if you can!
