Title: How do you Rack your gear? Gates in or out facing?
Post by: F4? on February 14, 2020, 11:07:26 AM: I prefer gates facing out as I swear I’ve lost gear due to a snagged gate.

Did anyone ever have the gear cord on harness come undone, unloading your rack to the squirrels?

Not worth its own thread, but I had a three star experience putting up an 80 foot one star 5.9 today. It included 30 feet of continuous movement up a narrow ramp with a very thin crack at the back. Very, very committing and looking at a weird fall into space. I think I embarrassed my partners as I got in tiny stoppers and shouted with glee about my "great nuts."

Joel P and BAP both followed and called it 5.10a. I channelled my inner Dennis and told them that if it couldn't be 5.9 it was 5.8 and not 5.10a.

And I led it with gates in....

Make sure you don't put any sizes in any kind of order too.
