Title: Physical Distancing Part 2

First

     Thank you mudworm!!
                                  For your hours and hours of work keeping Mud 'N Crud going.

On April 1, I went out with brother Jon to climb a new climb.  We were good boys and kept our distance from everyone else. 

Day 1 had gone very well and we finished two enjoyable pitches ('Fool'n Round' 5.10a P1 120' 7 bolts, P2 95' 3 bolts and gear small to fingers - those of you who are detail oriented may notice the pitch length changed from the earlier report - I'll blame it on the ease of mind that comes from retirement).  However, it wasn't finished.  On April 11 we were back.

I combined 1 and 2 in one long 215' lead.

The new terrain.  Pitch 3 looks unsavory but actually very fun staying on the right side rock of the gully at easy 5th with a 5.7 finish to the 1 bolt/gear belay (gear, 135').  Pitch 4 goes up the long buttress above for 200', 4 bolts, gear, 5.8

We were not the only ones enjoying this spring day.
Seven Big Horn sheep below.  There were three others around the corner to the west.  Unusual to see live ones over here.  They're usually in Pine Creek or other side of the crest.

 That is great Jim and Jon, would like to climb it later this year. The rock in the first pic reminds of layers of fudge in an ice cream sundae. Sounds essential right now.

Best seasons are autumn, winter, spring.  Much too warm during the summer months.
