Gonna go out Sunday. There will be guacamole and chips at the end of the day. Maybe a miller lite or something similar too. Seeking other folks into chips and dips , new routing, and checking out freaks in the parking lot.

Damn, the master of pick up verses. Are you taking rain checks?
-
Why yes but of course.

Can't join you at Pinnacles. First, Pinnacles climbing season is done. I for one am finished with that drive until autumn. It's rebolting season down there now, isn't it?
Second, we've got a pretty big crew up here this weekend, looking for accessible granite in between remaining piles of snow.
Guacamole sounds good though.

Have fun!
Should be 73 at Pinns Sunday. Might be last weekend of those Temps
.

It's always Pinns season in the Spike's Peak chimney.
-
There's always a Pinns non-season if you live an unGodly distance from the park and are stupid enough to drive down there way too much.
-
You are either a braver or more patient man than I am. I have a hard rule of going nowhere on holiday weekends
-
Pinns is usually ok on holiday weekends if you are up early.
I never drive to the beach or in the direction of the Sierra or even worse Tahoe on holidays.
-
Fair enough.
Unfortunately I can't avoid going towards the beach to get most places, and I have two little anchors that prevent me from getting out the door early.

I sure as hell wouldn't drive this way either on a weekend like this.

Today I did 58 miles of bicycle riding on rural roads in Mariposa and Merced counties and only encountered two cars. I guess the crowds are avoiding rural roads in these counties.
-
Careful road riding out there. Lots of drunk drivers out. It only takes one.
