After I got home from Jacquie's clinic, there was still some day light left. Mr Mud did one loop already (fire road up and single track down), but he set out to do the loop again with me. This was my first single track experience ever. I cleared about ... 5% of it :-[. Hope next time I can clear 6%.

Today, I cleared the first 6%. It was continuous too. :) I know it's the easiest part of the trail, but last time I couldn't do it. After that, my front tire blew -- I rode right onto a piece of sharp metal that stuck out on the side of the trail. I did hike-a-bike home for about 1.5 miles.
We fixed the metal though.
