Title: tyndall
Post by: salad on September 12, 2007, 02:09:22 PM
did tyndall on 9/1 via the north rib.  pretty uneventfull, weather was threatening the entire way but never came. 4:15 to the pass and a consistent but not pushing it pace.  slow going up the rib as i was sucking wind having come from sea level.  11:45 car to car.

started out at 4:45am and was back in escondido by 9:15pm.

not looking forward to another trip over sheperds pass to get williamson.

HA exactly. Family is fair game.Always has been and always will be. As I like to say, you love them but you don't necessarily like them.

It's my off night. I get to rest once in a while.

With our luck it'll be due to the Taiwan trip.

Mr Mud,

man i feel your pain. My shoulder hurts like feck as I finally had surgery on it last Friday. I can ride but the thought of a mantle right now make me nauseous. See, I just threw up in my throat! :o

PS..I could have sworn I saw you peddling your mtn bike like a madman today on Shoreline. I even swerved!

OK, back to theme of this thread...

Nice work Sal. Miwok and I took a wrong turn to climb Morning Thunder a couple of weekends ago and I damn near passed out. I definitely need to kick the cardio back into high gear.
