My parting gift to him was a packet of tissues. You have to bring your own TP in some parts. I found out the hard way and cursed jenny from the stall.

Could be worse....you could be crapping into a hole overhanging a river. Seriously.....how can it seem ok to do that if you wash, drink, and swim in that same water!

easy, one lives upstream from the neighbors.

There is always someone upstream.
Well survived the first day in China. The first thing I noticed was the traffic and that people seem to like to yell. The second, trees in the little woods next to the road all grow on a grid. Third, While on the bus to the hotel We were able to see where they are building a new freeway. It was during the week at the end of a working day around 6 PM a few people still hanging out and there was not one piece of heavy machinery and the scaffolding appeared to be made out of pipes and bamboo. Now that may not seem to out there until you realize the freeway being built is probably 50 to 150 feet off the ground. I really wanted to get a picture of the guy on the three wheeled bicycle with at least 15 5 gal water jugs full of water on it. This bicycle looked as old as I do, so did the rider, the chain hung down in a loop just short of dragging on the road.
There is a real mix of old, new and bazaar. I have my eye's peeled like I am on the motorcycle splitting lanes at 60 miles per hour and I still feel like I am missing half of everything.
Will post more later on the blog.
