Title: Post T-Giving Shopping
Post by: F4? on November 23, 2007, 01:26:09 PM
Stopped by Frys this morning....couldn't resist since the parking lot was full!

As imagined, the place was a mad house. They had lines to get into each of the areas to pickup what you wanted.

Oddly, there was no line for the Macs! Ha, ha.. Honestly, to pick up the item you had to wait in a line.

I think they had deals on the 50" plasma TVs.

Anyone else brave the crowds??

I was thinking about it because there were some good deals on LCD monitors. But I was not brave enough to do it.

Hmmm, but were the deals really good compared to ordering on line?

Plus you could get the same stuff online.

Last time I checked, most good quality 22" LCD monitors online cost a bit more than $200. On Black Friday, I think you can get them for ~$160 (after rebate).  I bet if I wait for two years, they will get really cheap.

Note much more. They have to ViewSonic 22" for about $250 or so.

That's because Mac users know how to shop online (and know to buy direct from Apple)... Seriously, my dad bought one today.

I braved the crowds at Performance this morning. But it wasn't really that bad. My dad and I got there right when they opened.  :)
