Title: Hello from Edinburgh!
Post by: F'ueco on January 03, 2008, 05:46:40 AM
Oh, and Happy New Year as well!

I did climb something this morning. Arthur's Seat, which is an ~800 foot tall hill next to Edinburgh. And full winter conditions to boot... I managed to find a class 3 way to get to the summit, thus avoiding the tourist trail. The falling snow made it fun.  ;)

Anyway, here's some pictures to tide y'all over:

 I'll post more tomorrow.

Didn't even know that you were out of the country.

Good Pics.

btw, what's the difference between Scots and Scotch anyways. ;)

How are the wemen on the isles?  All I see are pics of climbable St. Andrews walls?  Buildering must be really good.

Nice, I showed the pictures to the wife and she could point out her old dorm. She did a stint of school there. Thanks for sharing. Simple vacation or some other event?

Funny, every time I looked at the walls of the castles I visited all I could think was "Hey, I could climb that!". Good stuff though!

As for the women. There are many hotties there. And I suspect that they weren't the English tourists. Those mostly looked homely and banged up. But the cutest girls I encountered over there were the two sitting next to me at the Hearts v. Kilmarnock football match yesterday. And they were from Lithuania. Go figure...  ;)

The beer and whisky both lived up to my expectations. And don't worry, I drank enough for the lot of you
