Title: It Can Stop Snowing Now
Post by: Brad Young on January 24, 2008, 07:41:43 PM
Nearly three feet here since Tuesday, and no sign of it letting up. I couldn't get out and leave for work today until 9:15, and then, between a slow drive down the hill and picking up two of my employees to take them in, I didn't get in until 10:00. At least I brought work home with me, so I don't have to go in tomorrow. I'll work a little and play with the girls in the snow some (I assume school will be cancelled again tomorrow). Then it's the weekend. Maybe my annual "strap on the skis in the garage" cross country jaunt Saturday for some excercise?

It can stop raining now. It rained whole night, and rains on our roof sound really loud. After Mr Mud got up at 5:11, I couldn't go back to sleep any more. I decided I should just get up and post.

Chain line was at Jamestown yesterday morning. It's clear up to east Sonora today. Mudworm, mention to Mr Mud please that I think we're off for climbing tomorrow.

I'll relay the message, but I seriously thought my husband could read. Hmmm... ::)

I think he can read - it's just that he's so busy at work, I don't think he does.

We all know we need the water. Still, I'm tired of it. Its hard to ride when its wet and the trails are muddy. Even harder to climb:-)

Both Red Hills outside of Sonora and Hogan Res. Coyote Point Trail.  Have good Mt. bike riding even when it is raining and wet.  So soil is very rocky in both places.  A long way from the Bay Area but great winter trails.
