Title: Where's Munge?
Post by: F4? on May 19, 2008, 08:38:36 PM
Did he go to that great valley in the sierra?

Any bets on how long he's there for?

Now's my chance to catch up on post counts.

Salad,

I so wish I was with him. Work is kind of nutty, so I had to pass. To add insult, I picked up the flu that everyone in my family already had. Hence Squiddo's reference.

Maybe next year.

Munge....what route? No shame man, that's what the cooler is allll about. F4 choose the pink one 'cause he can spot it quickly;-)

Agreed no shame.  Ya just got that much better.

One thing is if you are slow and people want to get by just remember that you are in front of them.  No worries.  Time for a second attempt.

here's ta sweat in your eye

Yah, there's no shame, just ask Jake, he's tried El Cap 12 times (made it on the 1st).

Get back up there, you can do it.

The pink allows me to see the cooler in low light situations. Plus I hear ligher colors keeps the beer cooler.

Pictures?

Munge -

I'd be willing to take a 3 day weekend this fall and give it another go with ya.

Uber, only 3? That's 2 more than you need:-) Of course I'm kidding. Thereare certainly things about walls that I appreciate...what I don't enjoy is how much like work it can feel like.

not really any good pics, except of a bear I saw on the way out of the park.

yeah, already thinking when I can scrape some three day weekend time together. it would be hella fun without all the work.

fyi, there is some easy expando that like's to keep cams at the top of pitch 1. had to use trickery to retrieve my cams.

Which route?

I though with pins you could beat expando into submission?

Glad I'm not on a route right now with the weather shaping up like it is.

Squiddo, what did you end up doing?

He got schooled at climbing routes on the Frog.

"This hold is loose!"

Loose would imply that it was attached with something other than mung.

"Ew I'm scared! These holds are loose" "Take!"

The worse part was getting to the top of Atlas Shrugs and seeing the botched star dryvin as the 2nd bolt. That was after passing the home made hanger that didn't have thier edges filed down, yikes!

Yes, loose pinnacles rock makes me loose my bowels it is true. Don't make me remind you about your fear on a solid granite crack at Sugerloaf:-)

AND, you asses made me climb last, build the rap anchor and rap off those shitty bolts! I love this sport:-)

Those bolts could be fixed with a generous ASCA donation.
