Figures Ed would down grade UberM...his reach must be better than Sharma's, at least when Sharma 1st did it.

I am not sure Ed Barry downgraded the route.  I know it took him a while to get it.  I thought that it was Sharma himself.

no sharma didn't down grade it as far as I know.



my rumor mongering understanding is that it was Jim, what's his face, bay area rock guidebook.  THornburg, that's it. forgot for a sec there.



just his personal impression, i don't think he was evangelizing a downgrade as such.

In MOR IV or whatever video that was with Sharma doing the rouite it is listed as 13d and at that point had not seen a repeat. I heard rumors that it was upgraded to 14a by people who had been unable to repeat. Then Ed did it and put it at 13d/14a...I am not sure.

Hey Jody, if you ever catch me speeding out there some day in the future, feel free to toss insults my way (only verbally though, no to the paper stuff).  :)



I just sent my money jar to the Superior Court in Mariposa County.  That's a year's saving.  Was hoping to buy some nice Christmas presents for everyone (yes, everyone).  Now pooof, all gone.  :cry:

Hey, I was climbing in a gym about 4 years ago. Some dude I had never met yelled, "Hey fat ass! Get up that climb, would ya?!" Never seen the dude before...talk about hurling insults.



Biggest fine I ever saw for speeding was a guy I wrote for 140+ on I-40 heading out towards Needles. $2500! Funny thing was that he was an off-duty deputy and not happy that I wrote him.  :D
