Anyone? Anyone? Say 6p?
-
yeah, especially if the air cleans up a bit.
Arastradero?
-
We'll be packing up and getting our bikes ready for the Downieville trip. Next time, you'll have to ride Coe with us.

Well, how was the ride? Hot? I've been pleased the last few times I've ridden there....stayed coolish.
-
it got cooler after about 30 minutes there, but in the first 30 minutes several factors were noticed...
1. don't drink an entire bottle of Domaine St. Michelle by yourself the night before. http://www.domainestemichelle.com/
2. don't eat 2 slices of Patxi Pizza's for lunch the same day. note these have a 1/4 of cheese across the entire pie.

3. don't drink a can of carbonated water on the drive over thinking that 'well, at least it is water in case there is none there since you forgot your camelback.'
4. haze in the air makes the munge wheeze
5. weeds in the air makes the munge sniffle
6. mid 80 temps makes the munge wilt
So with all that, we rode a trail that cuts to the south and up a gradual incline. good way to "warm" up. when we hit the top. i was gonna hurl. belly full of bad berries style. it's like eating lots of frozen yogurt before riding femont older. Uber was very nice and didn't laugh once. :)
Felt good to ride. I feel better overall for having riden yesterday, so tonight I think I'm going to ride the levees.
anyone climbing this weekend?
-
I'll be climbing Ebbetts, Monitor and Carson passes... :)
-
Lovers Leap on my end. Munge...GREAT story you had me laughing.

I'll be resigned to just climbing up and down stairs for me. I can hit the gym for a bit.
-

Just because my middle name is Lee, doesn't mean all us asian folks look alike, ya know.

Damn, dude...you made it sound awful. You did fine and were having fun at the end. I had a blast.
Picking up the new wheels and brakes this Thursday. I've already (with some help) put the bottom bracket, the chainrings and cranks, the headset, fork, and deraileurs on the Blur. Can't wait to bust her out when she's done!!

all that post is just talk, but in all honesty, i was within a single gag reflex of throwing up lunch. absolute truth. I was expecting to be winded, just not hurling. oofa!
but thx just the same. gotta keep riding.

Just got to change you frame of reference. If you look at making yourself puke as a GOAL, then you will always have a good time! :)

classic, but oddly it makes sense.
this scares me.
-
truth be told, eh?
