Title: Anchors on H&L Dome?

If I get to the top, am I going to find decent rap anchors? I haven't been there in so long I can't remember what the descent is like. I last climbed it in 1974 so my memory of it is kind of fuzzy.

Today is your lucky day. I was just up there today and there is one new bolt and new chains.



PS- Bring the zoom lens. The condors are hanging out ontop of Longs Folly.

Correction. The belay anchors on Tuff dome have a new bolt.





H&L has all new bolts for the regular route. FOP has been busy over the years upgrading the bolts. Most belay anchors are in good condition.

I was going to try and do Feather Canyon on H&L. If I remember correctly, it ends on the second summit?

That was me above, forgot to log in. It has just been so long I don't need any surprises up there. :)



Thanks for the tip on the raptors. I think I can lug a mini-tripod and my 1000mm up there without too much trouble.
