probably a mitigation effort for the air pollution issues and yet still have a big show.

Post by: mynameismud on August 11, 2008, 01:58:02 PM: Some of the fireworks the displays that they wanted would have caused a hazard if people were around when they went off. So they prerecorded those and added them in digitally.

They also digitally added in the torch bearer running on top of the Coliseum.

Even with those mods it looked like an awesome event.
