11:19 for 2 miles is not too shabby for someone who trains for distance as opposed to shorter races.  I won the Parent's race I mentioned in a different post by over 1 minute.  When you talk trash, you never know who is listening and just may make you eat your words...

Do your kids get a bumper sticker for it? Something like "my dad runs faster than your dad" kinda thing. Good job! You make your kids proud.

No bumper sticker, but the proud smile my daughter had on her face when I finished then accepted my reward showed everything that needed to be said.
