Title: San Andreas Brewing Co -Closed
Post by: F4? on January 08, 2006, 11:56:41 AM
Yesterday after a long and hard day of pulling at the Pinns all I could think about was stopping at the San Andreas brewery in Hollister for a nice cold beer and a great burger. As I pulled up to park, the sign was gone and the place gutted! Quick thinking landed us at the Tomale place down the street.

Is this the result of us climbing too much on the Westside?

Does anyone know how long it's been closed?  :(

Bummer.  Budweiser shuting down distribution hurt a lot of very good small breweries.

Hopefully he can get his beer back out there sometime.

The article I found mentioned they were going to try and still sell thier brew. It just won't be the same though. I'm not sure about having sushi after a hard day of climbing.

The climbing was better than the beer but after a hard day even bad beers is still pretty good.

Anytime there is less beer in the world, it is a sad, sad day.
