pg. 20 "Everyman Salutes" Steve Curtis on trad, family and FAs
-
Will have to get that issue.

My local paper(my old man is friends with the editor) put a little story about me in it. I used your picture from the bike ride at Bear we took together.

Steve is incredible.
(Well, I hope it is okay that I post the image here. It's not like Rock & Ice will loose some sale because of it, right?)

Uncle Stinky, oh, Jeff, the article is great! That's definitely inspiring. I'm glad that our picture got used. I must have taken it. ;)

Is Steve really an everyman? Or a superman?
Touching "eric Mr Mud and I got on the Rostrum at 10am and he was married at 4pm."
Not bad.

Definitely cool that people are getting props. When we were up in Squamish Steve mentioned that he was going to be in a short article in the next issue of RocknIce. I had no idea that he mentioned my name. I also didn't quite understand what Munge meant about the shout out. Kinda cool.
Steve is a beast. He has done so much I was surprised to get the mention. There are many feats he could have put out there. The guy just keeps going. Flying in and leading every pitch of A-Man on no sleep has to rate up there somewhere. Then there is the stuff he has done in Norway, and the stuff in Spain. Geez. Oh, Steve has definitely done the Rostrum more than 10 times.
Not to bad considering I was way out of shape and still had time to take a shower and get into my tux. Plus there was plenty of time to get back to the Chapel and socialize. Kind of blew it though since we did not have time for a beer.
Kind of tame on a bike. :)

Copyright is copyright - just takes one lawsuit to ruin your day.
-
I know. Maybe I'll change the image after a few days.

My understanding is, you can use a portion, less than 10%, of a Publication without being sued. Coping and distributing one article would make for a difficult law suit let alone a PR nightmare.
Copying and distributing a large chunk of the Publication would be a bad idea.
I think we are fine.
