Resurrection Wall, 1991

I saw the Resurrection photos in another thread and decided to post these from 1991.

Jack and I took advantage of a very nice spell of weather in February to head up Resurrection.  I should mention that both of us are great admirers of Tom Higgins.  However, while my admiration is genuine, it is also a bit academic.  Jack actually took his to the point of emulating Mr Higgins's achievements.  Climbing that second pitch free was never a goal of mine.  It was for Jack.

He gave it three college tries on this particular day.  He got within a couple of moves of the overhang's lip twice.  He came off about midway on his third attempt.  And you all know Jack.  No hang-dogging allowed.  He had me lower him back to the belay every time.
